Gail has been conducting ceremonies since 1995 and it was after the sudden death of her husband that one of her friends who was a Civil Marriage Celebrant suggested Gail should consider becoming one herself. As a former guide at the Sydney Opera House she was used to speaking in front of large groups of people and having been happily married thought this maybe a worthwhile endeavour. In those days Celebrants were selected on a quota basis and formal training was with a Mentor.
It was 5 years before Gail was appointed and even though she was nervous and anxious, she conducted her first wedding and was overjoyed by the experience and hasn’t looked back having conducted well over 1000 ceremonies in the intervening years.
Gail would consider it an honour to conduct your ceremony.
